Hello Smile

am making pulled pork on Sunday for a bunch of friends and I need a fool proof recipe

I have a rather large chunk of pork that I am planning to slow cook but other than that I got nothing.

Am putting this on now in case I need to get ingredients or marinade Grin

also, what should I serve with it?

I've found the best way to do it is simply stick it in with some sort of bbq or rib sauce. Then you can pull the pork, and then reduce the sauce then add the meat back to soak the pulled pork in it and it is delicious.

I marinade the pork overnight in a rub made with brown sugar, cayenne pepper, all spice, ginger and tomato paste. I put it in the slow cooker with onions, red/yellow peppers, cider vinegar and a more of the spices. Leave it for 5 hours or so, taste it and then see if it needs sweetening or more vinegar. I also have some liquid smoke flavour I bought from America.

All day pork/ serve with homemade coleslaw - I like smokey dressings, soft rolls, chips or baked potatoes, some greens like buttered Savoy cabbage work well too.

I use the channel 4 recipe.
It doesn't use a BBQ sauce so allows people to add it at the table.

I'm posting from the app so don't know how to make links work!

Thank you all :) I love the recipe with home made bbq sauce I think that's gonna win the day.
Also, I'm thinking coleslaw and sweet potato wedges with it?

We have it in big baps with a side of coleslaw but sweet potato wedges sound lovely.
