I've come to steal your ideas Grin

I panicked and brought a load of hot cross buns to make a bread and butter pudding type thing but now I'm having second thoughts that it's not special enough...

Inspire me! Thank you!

Easter Eggs and nothing but. I'm dead classy.

Bread and butter pudding made from hot cross buns sounds absolutely gorgeous though - that's inspired.

Eggs - surely?

Hmmm I'm really not making a pudding with that much chocolate in the house but strawberries, cream and meringues would be easy/contrast all the chocolate.

New York cheesecake (ie baked, plain) with berries and creme fraiche. Perfect dessert to follow huge garlicky lamb leg. And in-laws will be here so I need to show off impress Grin

Bread and butter pudding from hot cross buns will be amazing, we're having chocolate and ginger tart, hoping the dcs won't want any. Wink

I am doing hot cross bun bread and butter pudding. Am spreading the buns with marmalade prior to baking for extra decadence and lushness!

Mummybookworm · 19/04/2014 22:07

Bill Granger's banana butterscotch pudding. Tis yum.

We had Rose Prince's (Daily Telegraph Weekend Section) Chocolate Pots. Just chocolate, eggs, sugar, water and butter.........very easy and extremely scrummy.....and very very rich!
