Halogen ovens

I bought a halogen oven on a whim and I don't really know what to do with it. Does anyone use one and can you give me any tips or recommend a recipe book?
Thanks

I have the same problem, though mine was bought for me.

I am actually arfaid of it!

I have bought recipe books but nothing stands out, so I am just using the regular oven.

At this rate, the halogen will end up on eBay.

I am currently experimenting with a baked potato, it looks quite forlorn sat there on its own. I hope to do a chicken at the weekend.

I cook everything in mine. Had it a couple of months and Ive only used my cookery oven once.

Have you made a casserole in it Anya? Can you put foil in it? Do you just put stuff on the racks or do you place stuff in a dish/ container first then on the rack? How would you do chops for instance,

My baked potato was quite successful.

I've made a leek and Bacon casserole and it turned out fine. Tin foil is fine too. I've placed a silicon tray at the bottom then the rack on top to cook chops.just makes it easier to clean. I've also used pryrex in it too.
