Hi I am trying to find/recreate some deserts I tried a while back and were amazing but I don't know what they are called.

The first one was a very white and very fluffy cake, tasted like I imagine a clout would. It was made by a lady from the Philippines at our church although I am not sure it is relevant or not to the cake.

The second I ate when I was only fourteen. I think it was called a "bomb". It was made of a sort of cream and had a domed shape.

Not much to go by really. Do these ring a bell?

The cake could be Angel Food Cake, for the second, try searching for BOMBE, it's often made of ice cream, but not always. BBC Food should have some ideas, and I think Jamie O likes them too.

Morrisons do a lemon bomb.
That is all I know. Have never tried it. The PILs rave about it though.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was going to be an interesting geography challenge...Grin

Oops yes a geography challenge indeed or spelling!

Thanks allalone, I will try that. I think for the first one you might be right, might be an angel cake
