Marrows - suggestions needed!

I now have 2 humungous marrows (from my organic veg box deliveries) and not a clue what to do with them! Would be happy to stuff them with mince but I've got a sneaking feeling that they won't freeze well and there's no way me and dh could eat it all...and ds1 is still only 12 months so won't be able to help that much!!
All recipe suggestions hugely welcome

ohhh dunno, I like mine steamed and served with a white sauce over it and served with roast pork.

Not really a recipe though.

marrow type things

Hi, you could peel marrow, cut it into thick slices and gently fry in some little oil till golden, then stuff it with minced beef/lamb/pork or a mixture of lamb and pork with cooked rice and grated carrots, put it in the oven with some tomato sauce and seve hot with some sour cream.

Oooh stuffed marrow one of my favourites. Only for eating now, but still, Takes ten mins max.

Ok cut it into rings, say 1 inch thick and cut out the middle, cucumbery bit. Chuck. Take packet of non chipolata sausages, 8 or 6 and pop them out of their skins. Add salt pepper, decent squeeze/squirt.dollop of tomatoe puree 9a tablespoon) plus chopped medium onion, normal or red, finer rather than chunkier. If the sausages are bland add some mixed herbs. roll into balls and place inside holes of marrow. Cook in say 180 oven for 40 mins odd, maybe up to one hour depending. Marrow needs nothign extra as sasu fat cooks it. Delic, In fact we eat the stuffing in smaller courgettes and use them in the shape of boats and also without any marrow or courgette and still call it stuffed marrow! Big family favourite and a great way to use sausages easily.
