Pickled onions

specifically home done ones,how long can you keep them?

Well we used to have them year round when I was a child, and my mother only made them once a year...but mine never kept longer than a few months, then they got light green spots that I didnt fancy eating.

I have 3 jars from last year and was wondering if they were still ok to oeat?

I think they tend to go soft in the middle after a few months

thought they probably would do, i wnat the jars so will prob chuck them!
