Cake for tomorrow - any ideas?

Hi, I'm visiting my friend and her family tomorrow. I've offered to bring a cake - it must travel well as they live an hour away. I need to make it tonight as I won't have time tomorrow. I need some ideas!!

I like Nigella's malteser cake. I use milo as that's what we have. It really rises perfectly every time.

Any cake that contains nuts and is soaked in syrup will be lovely and moist the day after eg lemon drizzle or coffee walnut.
