Recipes for small cakes good for a toddler

Got some eggs to use up and wanted to make some small cakes that my near 2 year old can have. Have all the normal cake making ingredients and a surplus of white chocolate and dates. All recipes kindly considered.

4oz butter/marg
3oz caster sugar
4oz self-raising flour
2 eggs

Cream butter and sugar for ages till pale and fluffy. Add beaten eggs and sifted flour. Divide half the mix between 10-12 bun cases, place a soaked date on top of each mix then cover with remaining mix.

Bake at 175/180c for 15-18 mins until just cooked and no more.
