cabbage

I bought a cabbage at the weekend and now it's just looking at me and I don't know what to do with it.

Any ideas for a cabbagy recipe for fairly fussy children?

shred the cabbage and steam it for about 5 mins.

Cut up some bacon into little bits and fry it till crispy, add a bit of garlic sliced if you like, then stir in the steamed cabbage witha knob of butter.

Very yummy!

Or you could make bubble and sqeak

I feel like I should know what bubble and squeak is!

mashed potato with cabbage mixed in essentially!, you can then shape it into little cakes and fry (although I normally don't bother) will finda recipe
