lemon juice ice cubes are good. nice in water or in home made lemonade.

you can squeeze one or two in tinned tuna and add olive oil. it makes the tuna milder and lots of brownie points for healthy.

How about this lemon curd recipe - that'll use 2, then use the other one in your G&T!!

So its either a lemon cake or a plain sponge cake with lemon curd filling?

And with the remaining lemon I think I will try it with tuna

Thanks

clean my microwave? with a lemon? how? dose it work?

to clean your microwave with them you just have to cut a couple in half and put them in a bowl of water in the microwave for about 20 mins.

then wipe out your macrowave...any gunky stuck on bits should wipe off no problem and it'll smell lovely and fresh!

I cut left over lemons into slices and keep them in the freezer and use for drinks.

Shove one or two inside a chicken when roasting it! Or you can preserve them in a moroccan recipe, but I don't know what they taste like.

We use dozens of lemons every week in our house....in salad dressing, on roasted veg, cut into slices with potatos and onions and baked with fish. You can stick half a lemon in your dishwasher to make it smell nice instead of using those chemical deodorisers.

Ainsley Harriet has a recipe called Lemon tarts of tarts and it is fabulous. I made it when I had friends round and one of them is a real fussy eater. He went back for thirds! I'm currently at work but if I remember, I'll post the recipe later, if you like.

Mix the juice and zest with olive oil, parmesan and ground pepper and lo! you have a zingy pasta sauce.

Add basil leaves too if you have any.
