Freezing white sauce - can I?

That's it basically! Trying to get ahead of the game for hoards descending at Easter! I've made the ragu/meat bit and frozen it but seem to have found myself with loads of milk so thought I'd try and get even more organised and make the white sauce ready to assemble my lasagne just before my guests arrive? I've stupidly invited all the family to come Easter Thursday but we only fly back from our holiday late Wednesday night so any short cuts are going to be very necessary...

Thanks in advance!

I would have thought so. I freeze cheese sauce all the time and white sauce is much the same (minus the cheese)

Oh spooky Ilovepowerhoop - that was going to be my next question! I've got so much milk and a rather ropey looking cauliflower I was going to make Cauliflower cheese to freeze ready for Easter Sunday! Whats the worst that can happen - if it curdles/splits I'll just put extra cheese on it!

Now just need to clear a drawer of my freezer! Thanks v much!
