I have four nice beefburgers in the freezer, and five hungry people to feed tonight. Any suggestions what I could do to stretch the burgers?

Cook them, slice thinly and serve in wraps with plenty of salad/pepper etc.

I would Chop a quarter off each and have the four spare quarters myself. Put all the burgers (including my 4 bits) into large bread rolls.
Add any of the following: cheese, fried egg, bacon, tomato, sauce or relish, raw or fried onion.
Serve with homemade wedges, or chips or similar, with peas or salad.

cut the burgers up put in dish with potato wedges, sprinkle with cheese and tomatoes and chillies and bake in oven. Add a tin of kidney beans & bell peppers if you are big eaters. Serve with plenty of salad. Texan(ish) bake!

I guess you could do a kind of enchilada as well, but I love potato Grin

I've made meatballs out of nice burgers before- served with ragu.

Use pastry cutter to make each burger slightly smaller. Make 5th burger with offcuts. I do this all the time. .family of 5. No one has noticed yet!

I like Luis's idea best, because it's the least extra work! Wink

Also, we have rather too many wraps - they were on offer, and the dc like them for pack lunches, so I bought a couple of weeks' worth. But I forgot that the school hols were coming up. Confused

I'm not a domestic goddess.
