My favourite is Madhur Jaffrey's Chana Dal. Recipe here Worth tracking down proper chana dal rather than yellow split peas

I make this one all the time, quick and good to eat hot, warm or cold.

Remus's one is fab, I found it on here somewhere.

This weeks guardian food mag had a good looking recipe.
