I would like to be able to chop them for recipes like this one:
wellroundedathlete.net/eat-more-vegetables/

i.e - slice fast cabbage, carrots, pepper etc

author of that blog reccomends
Cuisinart but I don't know which one available in UK would be an equivalent.
I have Kitchen Aid so don't really need a mixer.

This thread is very old now, so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for the latest recommendations, we’ve recently updated our best food processor page with the top options tried, tested and loved by Mumsnetters, including models ideal for chopping veg. We hope this helps.

I love my magimix. V good for chopping carrots, also cabbage, onions. It comes with different blades for slicing and grating.
