More help needed- how to cool and store please.

I'm making a birthday cake got DC. It's a chocolate cake and its in the oven (crosses fingers).

I need to leave for work a few minutes after it iscooked. I'll be back about 3 hours later.

Should I turn it straight from tin to a wire rack? Will it be ok to stay there for 3 hours?

Once cooled should I wrap in foil, or cling, or grease proof paper? I planned on storing it in a tin, but its too big .

Id leave it in the tin and cover with a t-towel untill its totally cold itll easier to turn out too

After work wrap it so ots air tight to stop it drying out but dont put it in fridge itll go soggy but keep it cool andout of sunlight

leave it in the tin, you shouldn't really tip out big cakes until they're cool as they tend to break apart.
Once it's cool, just wrap in cling film till you need it.
