I make one and it is good but I want to make one that is more moist and a good taste of ginger

If you google uktv food double ginger cake- that one is fab and it certainly matures well and goes gooey!

This sticky ginger cake is delicious. Matures well so best made at least a week before you want to eat it to allow the flavours to develop, but can be eaten straight away! It's easy to make and turns out beautifully!

I think to get a moist, sticky ginger cake you need to leave it a few days to mature.
