What can you recommend that is in season now and nice and tasty?

Been told I am not of sound mind for buying strawberries from Spain so want to try eating seasonally and see where it takes us.

Kale, rhubarb, Savoy cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, shellfish. Have you thought of growing your own veg?
