MrsBadger · 17/08/2006 10:19

chez Badger the only things we actually run out of neccesitating a midweek shop are:
bread (or bread substitute - bagels, rolls etc)
milk
frozen peas
bags of salad
everything else we cope without till the big Tesco shop.

Bramshott · 17/08/2006 10:20

bread is much easier now we use our breadmaker - bung the stuff in and it's done in 4 hours which is better than trekking 3 miles to the shops.

oliveoil · 17/08/2006 10:20

we don't run out of anything as I have a personal shopper (dh)

acnebride · 17/08/2006 10:23

bread, which in theory we don't have, and dried apricots, which we give ds as a reward for peeing or pooing in the loo. He's got really good at it so we're going through a packet every 3 days, and of course they have a dual effect...

MrsBadger · 17/08/2006 10:25

oliveoil, I'm DH's personal shopper as I pass Sainsbury's on the way home from work!

good opportunity to top up the chocolate levels though...

Piffle · 17/08/2006 10:26

sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Lilymaid · 17/08/2006 10:27

Broccoli (one of only vegetables DSs will eat so get through loads of it). It isn't too readily available in the City without queuing away your lunch time.

Enid · 17/08/2006 10:29

god I could never get a breadmaker or an ice cream maker

would be the size of michelle mcmanus

OP posts:
oliveoil · 17/08/2006 10:29

surely she is now a size 10 like Vanessa Feltz...........

Overrun · 17/08/2006 12:41

Milk, bread and bananas

MadamePlatypus · 17/08/2006 12:49

bananas and at the moment chocolate. Stupidly gave DS some chocolate to encourage him to finish a course of antibiotics and the first thing he now says in the morning is 'where is my chocolate'. Thanks acnebride for reminding me about dried apricots - will use those in future.
