Gluten free birthday cake

Does anyone have a good recipe for a GF kids birthday cake that's not chocolate? I'd prefer to use ground almonds rather than GF flour if possible too. Thanks

Mellow, I made a GF birthday cake 2 wks ago, I didn't use ground almonds just the doves farm s/r flour, and a normal Victoria sponge recipe, apparently it was gorgeous, I made 2 shallow 10inch cakes prefer to do that as hate making 1 big one.

bbc good food have an amazing raspberry bakewell recipe, that is 50% ground almonds, and i think it would be pretty good gluten free
