home made nuggets - do i cook before freezing?

i have a real mental block on freezer rules - logic tells me that I can freeze home-made chicken nuggets without cooking them first as the chicken hasn't previously been frozen. However when you buy shop bought ones (obviously I never do ) they are pre-cooked. Which is best - just making some now.

I would cook first but not sure if that is right!

I would not cook them first personally.

no don't cook them first, just freeze them and then take out and cook as you need them.

There's no point in adding in an extra cooking, as if you cooked them now, then froze them, you'd have to re-heat them and be that bit extra careful about getting them piping hot to avoid food poisoning, etc...

Ok - so don't cook. Once frozen i've only ever defrosted before cooking, can you risk cooking from frozen if you ensure they are absolutely cooked through?

I make them with cooked chicken. I froze some yesterday, can I cook them from frozen or will I have to defrost do you think?

I would completely defrost first CD and then ensure piping hot when reheated. Glassofwine you can cook from frozen but it's difficult to gauge when they are completely cooked through in the middle.
