I haven't seen a meal plan thread for a while. I'm having a quiet moment while DD is napping,so thought I would try to figure out my plan for next week. Anybody else need inspiration?So far looking like this....
Tonight: Me out/DH something from the freezer
Saturday: home made pizza with chorizo, goats cheese and roasted red peppers for toppings. Green salad.
Sunday: Baked ham, maple syrup baked squash and other steamed veggies.
Monday: yellow split pea soup & leftover ham. Crusty bread.
Tuesday: Ham and broccoli pasta bake with leftover ham from Sunday. Green salad.
Wednesday: tuna & lentil salad with some goats cheese from the pizza, red onion, peppers, sugar snap peas etc.
Thursday: chicken & rice dish from Ottolenghi Jerusalem book
Friday: possibly take away.
I never normally cook ham, so looking for any recipes. I'm actually only cooking it because I have some yellow split peas to use up, and we've had so much veggie curry/dhal lately I wanted to make a soup instead and quite a few of the soup recipes are finished off with ham which sounds tasty. So we are having ham on Sunday.
