Suggestions for 14mo lunch

My 14mo ds seems to have gone off eating at lunch time recently. He eats a good breakfast (porridge with fruit, and yogurt and banana), and reasonably well at tea (usually toast and some fruit), but doesn't seem interested at lunch.

We normally offer a cooked meal - pasta and sauce or similar. But even his faves are getting rejected at the moment.

We were thinking of offering him some snacky bits that we can just stick away in the fridge / cupboard if he's not interested. He's not a great veg eater - he'll tolerate stuff in a cheese sauce, but will ignore it as finger food - except frozen peas

Anyone got any suggestions?

try some things like
sandwiches
cheese, ham and biscuits
fruit
cold sausage

noodles for occasional treat as not too messy when picked up

type of stuff I give my two and they are 2.10yrs and 8mths

Nemo

Thanks for that. Cold sausage might be a goer - and fruit is our default fall back

Don't really want to do sandwiches though - would prefer stuff that will last at least 2 or 3 days - so that if he doesn't eat it, we can offer it the next day. Does that make sense?

I guess what I really want is packets of stuff but without the crap. Does it exist?

Is he teething? I found my ds went off food when he was teething and would only nibble at snacks. The 'Goodies' range is good for things like cheese sticks and cereal bars with real fruit & seeds. Carrot/Cucumber sticks always went down well with mine. I know it probably sounds awful but he used to love oven chips cut up as well as he could pick them up??

Don't think he's teething - think it's probably just a fussy phase

Will have to look out for Goodies - thanks
