do you mean literally with cream in?
Or do you mean thick?

basic white sauce with butter melted then plain flour. Full fat milk, salt, pepper, 1/2 tsp of english mustard and dash of double cream and lots of gratted chedder cheese. yummy. Just keep stirring.

well, my lo loves ASDA great stuff tuna and pasta. i only buy occasionally, and its only some tuna with chopped tomatoes, and spiral pasta with creamy cheese sauce. everytime i buy the meal, i always think i can cook this myself. but i have no idea how to make creamy cheese sauce. its soft cheese bits that melts while you microwave. hope you undrstand what i eman? thnx

yes, exactly mummyplonk!

melt...um...1 tablespoon of butter in saucepan, add 1 or 2 T of plain flour, cook a bit stirring really quickly, then start adding milk bit by bit whilst stirring like mad. Then whe its at the consistancy you want, add cheese, (or you can add tuna and sweet corn kernels...yummy)

Try delia foolproof all in one sauce - you'll need accurate scales - put 15oz cold milk in a pan, add 3/4 oz flour and 1 1/2 oz butter and whisk continually as you heat it up. When it simmers, turn heat down as low as poss and let it simmer for 5 mins stirring occasionally. Honestly, it never ever goes lumpy.

I agree with jamiesam, the Delia all in one sauce is brilliant! It's in this lasagne recipe but just add whatever cheese you fancy.

My recipe - buy tub of Bisto Cheese Sauce granules!!
Make up as directed, add extra grated cheese & 1/2 teaspoon English mustard

my cheese sauce is bucket chemistry as i never measure melt butter add flour then milk and stir and grate in cheese
