I usually make Bistos but today am feeling a tad adventurous and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make gravy.

I have red onions, lots of herbs, flour.

TIA

remove the joint from the roasting tray, add some flour, make a roux with the juices and then add enough water til you get a nice serving consistency.

i usually cook the joint with the onions underneath so the flavour is in the jucies.

using a whisk to remove the lumps, i serve it with everyhthing in from the pan some people strain it.

mix 2 tbsp cornflour/flour with half pint cold water 2 oxo cubes of your choice(or juices from joint with the fat seperated off) s&p heat and stir, you can add fried onion and herbs if you like to make onion gravy and when its thick add more water whilst stirring until its to your choice of thickness.
I love onion gravy with bangers and mash.
