Need quick inspiration. DH about to go to the supermarket so ingredients are available.
Needs to be tasty, cheap, vegetarian and not a boring roast! Grin
Any ideas?

TIA

Chilli? That's what we're having tonight. Sour cream and tortilla crisps unhealthy optional extras (that we're also having!)

I'm making home made pittas to have with home falafels and salad complete with cucumber and soya yogurt dip/sauce.

Can't wait :o

Fits the vege/vegan criteria too

Home made

Tasty cheap and vegetarian is medjera to me. A lentil, rice and onion affair, easily found on google.

Or a dhal with flatbread.

I don't want to suggest soup as if a roast is boring, soup is boring.

I like soup, but it's kyptonite to DS ('Never! Give me! Soup! Again!').
These are excellent suggests, off to google madjera.
ThanksThanksThanks

There's a great recipe in Leiths veggie bible for a puy lentil lattice pie - great for a Sunday and the kids loved it.

Chickpea, spinach and coconut curry. Chapattis. Win. Wink
