fresh sweetcorn, i mean i know u boil it, but for how long??

I just do it until it smells nice - a few minutes? I think English people do it for longer, though - depends how well-done you like your veg, I guess.

Pour boiling water over it and do for 5 ish mins, or until it feels slightly soft. Is it on the cob or baby sweetcorn? I'd say slightly less time for baby scorn

I've got to boil fresh corn on the cob for around 15-20 minutes before it's soft enough to eat. Even then it's not really soft - still "al dente"
