Good lilac food colouring

Hi there, DD is having a Sofia the First themed party so I would like a nice lilac food colouring - I have Sugarflair's Grape Violet but I always find it looks a big murky. Any other suggestions of different brands?

Thank you.

I recently used Wilton gels that I got from Amazon to make a rainbow cake for DD. They are incredible! I'd tried some from the supermarket or possibly Lakeland before, and wasn't impressed. The Wilton gels are very strong so don't need much. Literally the tip of a tea spoon! I got a multi pack of 8 colours, but you can buy them singly.

I just add some pink to the grape/violet to brighten it a bit, I know what you mean by 'murky'.

Thank you - do you happen to remember if the purple is nice?? The one I used before was gel but is horrible!

Have bitten the bullet and ordered the mixed set plus a 'neon' set of three that has a great looking purple. Thank you!

I use the grape violet and add a tiny bit of the sugarflair pink (rose iirc)

Ribena!! It works really well.

Ribena??? Seriously???

Have Rose swell so will experiment with that and the Grape Violet.

Thanks all.
