I was jsut going to marinate them in chilli and ginger and do prawn salad, but it's miserable out and I don't feel like eating salad. Not keen on prawn currys/chinese, so I'm probably askign the impossible but does anyone have any other suggestions?

We just wolf down the prawns here babe.

Of course you could make a fishpie?

hmm, never tried making fishpie with prawns, generally use cod. Might be nice, I'm going to google that one!

Thai green curry with King prawns is good as is a spicy tomato chilli.

Have you ever had that thing in Brown's when they seem to fry them with garlic, then put on top something which tastes like cream and cheese and grill it? It turns lean protein into a lovely fatty snack to ahve with french bread!

I like - juice of 2 limes, honey to taste, splash of soy sauce, pinch dried chillis, load of chopped garlic. Heat it all together then add cooked prawns and a huge handful of chopped coriander.
Serve with rice or noodles.
Very quick. Obviously works fine with raw prawns too - they just take longer!
