Disappointing cherries - what to do with them??

Stupidly bought cherries today on a whim - and really shouldn't have bothered! They taste of nothing at all! What can I do with them? Cake?! Anything???

Stew them gently but thoroughly with some/a lot of cinnamon and sugar, perhaps with some plums as well. The heat will tenderise them and bring out what flavour there is.

Not enough for jam?

No not enough for jam unfortunately! Did think about stewing them but might be v exotic and do a sauce for some duck - otherwise I might just eat a whole cake!!!
