Sprouting your own sunflower sprouts - anyone do it?

I have been researching packed lunch options and came across a site that mentioned sunflower sprouts as a very easy option.

As a complete novice to sprouting, I can't work out which sunflower seeds to use. The site mentioned black oil sunflower seeds but on Amazon they all appear to be bird seed! Other sites mention hulled organic seeds but I need to make sure I buy the right thing.

Anyone know?!

we have a pack of sunflower seeds sent to the kids specifically for sprouting - Mr Fothergills.
I've been thinking of sprouting some to eat, and growing some to flower as an experiment for the kids.

They are rather black, and smaller than the eating seeds.
