I want to make wands for DD birthday.

Considered making star shaped biscuits and baking with the sticks in but not sure how the sticks would manage.

My 2nd idea was bake a tray of sponge and cut stars using a cookie cutter to put on the end of the stick/skewer.

I'm going to put marshmallows down the rest of the wand 'handle'

What do you think?

Sponge will be too messy and crumbly....I would instead make the cookies and then "glue" sticks of candy to their backs with royal icing.
