What setting for fridge/freezer?

Hi

My fridge always seems to defrost itself and freezer seems to over freeze

Freezer can be set to 0-5 or max
What's yours set on?
Fridge can be set 0-5

I use a thermometer. The fridge setting keeps it at about 5C and the freezer about -18C.
