kylie - dont add on the stress of making a cake. go to asda, tesco or m & s - they all make some there but they are fruit I believe. Or why not have cupcakes or something else. anything but making it yourself!

There are so many ways to save money.

Anyone of your guests make cakes - why not ask them and see if they would do it as a present.

Good Luck

You'll feel BRILL if you do it but LOTS of work.

Good Food magazine have recipes every year and are usually reliable.

I got married at 9 weeks pregnant after finding out at 5 weeks. Not enough time to make my own, but a friend bought M&S iced plain white cake with a little piped on side and put it on a stand with a bride and groom figure bought from Hobby Craft. It looked really good.
