Salad + chicken

I have salad makings (cucumber, lettuce, tiny tomatoes), and I have four chicken thighs. Can I put the two together? Should I just cook the chicken plainly and bung it in the salad? Or what?

You could cook the chcken in some honey and soy sauce or something. Will make it tastier!

Do Nigel Slater's speedy roast chicken and serve with the salad and some crusty bread

i would cook the chicken, and shred it over salad with a yummy vinagrette dressing - vinegar, mustard, black pepper and olive oil. Maybe pasta?

I normally would cook these either with a moroccan-stylee marinade, or just cook slowly with garlic. Could just do that, but thought I would somehow bung in the salad.

(I'd rather not do much with them while raw, particularly not dice them, though.)

I would marinade chicken thighs in lemon and worcester sauce (or some such thing) and cook. Then serve with the salad. If you have a little feta cheese to crumble over top of salad even better. Yummy
