yes or no?

Cringing at the fact that it's been in the fridge for so long

I'd say no.

Quootiepie · 06/08/2006 16:09

I thought the thread was saying a 4 week old opened a bottle of cooking wine!!

oxocube · 06/08/2006 16:23

Yuck! Bin it

geekgrrl · 06/08/2006 16:24

no.

Joolstoo · 06/08/2006 16:28

yes, deffo

why on earth not?

TambaIsBadBadBad · 06/08/2006 16:31

I read this as your 4 week old opened the wine.... was going to suggest a re-post under 'gifted and talented'

geekgrrl · 06/08/2006 16:32

It's probably gone mouldy by now.

oxocube · 06/08/2006 16:34

joolstoo, it will be like vinegar. Maybe thats an idea - find a recipe that needs vinegar and you should be fine

Joolstoo · 06/08/2006 16:35

not necessarily it might have 'matured'

wine would never last 4 weeks in our house

oxocube · 06/08/2006 16:36

Personally, I think 4 hours is pretty good going

Joolstoo · 06/08/2006 16:39

exactly!

Millie1 · 06/08/2006 17:58

Missed all this! Thankfully not a four week old - not sure whether I'd classify that as gifted or scarey .

Abandoned the plan and marinated my salmon in sweet chilli, soy & sesame oil instead. Off to see if it's cooked yet!
