Frozen soup - defrost/reheat?

I made a veg soup last weekend and froze some. I'd like to divide it into 2 and for dh and I to take some each to work tomorrow for lunch. We have microwaves at work for reheating.

Probably a silly q but I don't know - what's the best way to defrost/reheat? Should I leave it out overnight, will it then be ok to take to work tomorrow? There's no meat in it, just veg herbs and spices.
Thank you!

leave it out overnight, divide it up then nuke at work in the microwave.

Or if you have flasks, heat it from frozen on the hob tomorrow till piping hot then divide into two flasks.

Yep, that's what I do too Wilson.

Thanks, no flasks so I'll do the first suggestion!
Thank you.
