I've just made em a lovely meal, lasagne, chips, (all homemade) cauliflower, string beans and carrots and neither of the little blighters have touched hardly any

But they will quite happily pick and pike on crisps, fruit etc during the day.

WHY OH WHY do I bother?

sounds lovely

if they really won't touch their meals, I'd stop their snacks and they'd soon be hungry

Radley · 03/08/2006 17:27

Believe me, from tomorrow breakfast, lunch n dinner with NO snacks

Cor can I come round to yours for dinner, Radley? That sounds LOVELY!

Let it cool, stick it in the fridge with clingfilm and serve it up tomorrow, thats what my mum used to do.

Radley · 03/08/2006 17:48

I might just give them it tomorrow, i'm reheating mine later when dh gets in from work, he doesn't like lasagne so he is having a stew. On rare occasions I DO like eating with him

If they haven't touched it I would try again tomorrow though not more than that. I often reheat food for me and ds. Sometimes he doesn't even take a bit of lunch so I serve it up for dinner instead - saves cooking again
