I've been unwell and lost my cooking mojo but want to get it back.

DC love pasta and I want to make different kinds of bakes. No more tuna pasta bake or macaroni cheese. What else can I make?

I fry bacon, mushrooms, onions, peppers. Put in ovenproof dish with passata or tinned tomatoes and cooked pasta. Grated cheese on top and pop in oven til cheese melted

Yum

Fry leek, bacon and mushrooms. Add flaked smoked mackerel, enough creme fraiche to make it into a sauce and a few handfuls of baby spinach. Stir in cooked pasta, top with grated parmesan and breadcrumbs. Cook in oven for about 20 minutes.

Make a tomato sauce in an oven proof dish then cook the pasta in it directly - from dried - stir occasionally so that it doesn't stick. Then add torn up mozzarella, small carton of double cream, a handful of fresh torn up basil leaves and a couple of tablespoons of grated Parmesan. Bake at 200C for about 20 minutes then serve with salad and crusty bread.
