Freezing cakes

It's dc's bday at the weekend and I have tomorrow off so was wondering whether I could make the fairy cakes, freeze them, and ice them on Saturday, rather than try and do everything on sat..

Definitely! Infact I find them easier to ice frozen, stops cake crumbs getting in the icing.

Am not a professional mais but have a lot of kids' parties under my belt. Just remember... They are kids, important thing is they have fun. Nothing has to be perfect. Learnt that lesson the hard way! Have a fabulous time x
