By the time we saw the dietain DS was 13 months, he didn't chew very well and stated that he need the confidence to chew. So she recommended foods that would disolve in his mouth like plain puffed wheat, and ( sorry food police) Quavers !!
she said that he would grow out of it and we were offered the scope to have a look down his stomach and if it contoued then the possibilty of drugs.
Within a month of seeing her he had virtually stopped overnight being sick, as he was walking upright 99 % of the time.
OIt may be differnet with a child your age , it is certain;y worth speaking to your HV and asking for a referral.
when I gave the dietain the case history and mentioned arched back , straight away she said it was reflux , classic sign apparently.
have you tried the usual Gavison etc . I found this difficult to use especailly when trying to introduce solids.
must admit DS loved his milk aswell.
Worth getting it seen to ASAp, DS problems started around 5 months and it caused alot of stress for us him being sick at the worst after every meal and the cleaning up and the refusal to eat. He maintaned his weight OK but was only only just on 25 centile .
Came very close to depression with it all.
