I was wondering if anyone could recommend a book about sweet and chocolate making suitable for dd1 (9). I have seen this kit which I think she would enjoy as she likes science too but it seems a lot of money considering that the only things we don't have are the thermometer and book. Something explaining the science behind it would be perfect - infact that book but not at that price!
