Adult lunchbox ideas

Whenever I take a packed lunch I am always really hungry again by 3.30 (and need to keep going till around 7pm).

I would usually have something like: cheese salad sandwich, yogurt, crisps, a cake and a drink.

What could I have instead? I like hot things but feel a bit limited as one of my colleagues can't use the microwave if anyone has cooked meat Hmm

Homemade veg soup
potato salad
cous cous salad
bulghur
pasta salad with tuna
flapjacks
brown wholemeal bread
fruit instead of crisps
quiche
wraps with refried beans, guacamole tomato salsa and cheese
homemade tortilla Spanish omelette
porridge/muesli

There's loads of microwaved stuff you can have without meat!

Soup
Pasta
Baked potato
Baked beans on toast (if you have a toaster)

Ditch the crisps and cake every day or make it every other day.

I sometimes have left over pasta bake, spag bol ( or the sauce or chilli con carne) on say pasta or jacket potato.

Add a piece of fruit and make Salads say with rice/pasta/cous cous and chicken or ham.

You can also get eg tarts from m&s etc goats cheese etc.
