Can I cook with this wine?

White wine, opened about 3 weeks ago, been in the fridge since. It's a screw cap. I just want to fling some in my risotto.

Can I?

Taste it. If it tastes ok then use it. if it isn't good to drink don't cook with it.

It's probably fine, just have a slurp first to check.

JUST a slurp mind, or you'll end up having to open another bottle to actually make the risotto with...

I haven't got another one, that's the problem! How did I get into a situation whereby there is no wine in the house?!

OK I have had a small slurp. Tasted like wine.
