How much for a wedding cake?

I've been asked to give 2 quotes for a basic 3 tier square wedding cake. Sizes 12", 10", 8"

1st quote for fruit, chocolate & Victoria
2nd quote for Victoria, chocolate, Victoria

I have an app to price up but I've only ever made round so not sure how much extra mixture to include in my pricing also not sure if I'm charging enough for my time.

What would you charge? X

I bet you can get away with charging loads, the ones I looked at buying were hundreds of pounds! Luckily MIL made one in the end.

£300?

Seems a lots of time and effort to make x3 different cakes. Would be cheaper and easier if all one cameo would have thought. Plus decorating time

I paid &325 for mine in August and that was by no means expensive compared to some I looked at! I didn't even get to eat any of it either!!! Confused I nearly went against tradition and not have one but I'm so glad I did. When I look at the photos it was worth every penny!
