Nutella in/on Betty Crocker Devil Food Cake?

I am not in UK and cant get hold of the icing normally used (well I can but its about 8euro!!)Just wondering if anyone has used nutella as the topping/filling for Devil Food Cake instead of the Betty Crocker icing you can get? If you have did it turn out ok?

Nutella is vile. Don't do it.

A friend did this on her chocolate cake and it was yummy.

I tried the Betty Crocker devils chocolate cake once on the other hand and it had no flavour.

It will be lovely, even better stirred into buttercream.

Nutella buttercream is fabulous. Just butter cream with a few spoons of Nutella in. The colour isn't that dark but it is my all time favourite icing.
