What would serve meatballs with (apart from pasta and tomato sauce)

I have a pack of meatballs for tea tonight but need inspiration for something to serve them with.

We had meatballs last week with pasta and sauce and had lasagne last night so would like to stay away from pasta/tomato things.

Any suggestions? I'm hoping for super easy ideas because I cba today!!

DrNick I like it, its just like a creamy gravy - you need to add cream to the mix. It makes loads so I freeze the excess in little tubs to use later.

I like my meatballs ikea style with chips, cream sauce and possibly a bit of broccoli, but also with spaghetti and tomato sauce, but I've picked up a couple of other ideas off this thread.

Chips, veg and gravy or Swedish style.

I am having homemade meatball sandwiches tonight, like Subway.
