Slow cooker lentil chilli

(posted in chat too as want to get my ingredients ready tonight - not a morning chopper!)

I want to make lentil chilli in my slow cooker tomorrow. It's a lovely recipe I've used for years but I usually do it on the hob.
Do I need to reduce the amount of liquid significantly as for most slow cooker recipes or will I still need all the liquid for the lentils? (I will soak the lentils in boiling water for 1/2 hour first.

It has 300ml stock and 2 cans tomatoes for 175g lentils and lots of veg.

Cheers for this and any other tips you want to give a slow-cooker newbie Smile

Yes I would reduce the liquid. I'm making dahl tomorrow, using 1 can of tomatoes and I add the same of water and find that just enough. you can always add more if you need to. Most of my slow cooker recipes use considerably less water :)

Thank you redpriest - I'll reduce and cross my fingers Smile
