Quick icing help

I am making this cake for dd1's birthday today....obviously without the It's a Boy! I have already made a gluten free chocolate cake. What sort of icing is the chocolate icing? It's not just buttercream is it? What would you make?

I cant see the cake sorry. Can you give me the term to search on pintrest?

A lot of melted chocolate in butter cream can look like that.

That looks like ganache - for next time, heat equal amounts of cream and choc together (unless using white, add extra 100g) leave to cool then beat til thick and smooth
