Can anyone recommend a microwave rice steamer?

My trusty Lakeland one has packed up and they only sell a smaller version now. I loved it - perfectly steamed rice every time and veggies just as good. It needs to be big enough to cook for 4. Any ideas really appreciated!

We got one from bettaware years ago and it is still doing the trick.
It might be advertised as a veg/rice steamer.
It is white.Made of plastic type material.It has a vented lid and a colander type insert where you place the rice in cold water.
Cooks rice in about ten minutes and the best bit is...it is easy to wash.

Forgot to say it goes in the microwave abd wasn't expensive. :)

I threw my microwave out as I read they are so bad for you and Russia did many tests proving they destroy all nutrients in food.. every vitamin and so Russia made a national BAN on them! I have a rice cooker that was really cheap though and steams the rice and fish everything so perfectly.. it has a timer too.. so you just chuck in the rice and it comes out perfect

I have the Pampered Chef one. It's brilliant and cost about £16. Cooks plenty for 4 people.

You don't need to do rice in microwave, just stick one cup of rice in a pan with two cups of water, plus salt if required. Bring to boil, stick on lid and turn heat right down to a simmer. 20 mins later - perfect! Miles easier than faffing about with microwave imho
