What do you store your bread in?

I have a bread bin but what do you keep it in within that (if anything)? I generally fold down the plastic/paper when I buy loaves but am now making my own.

Wrapping in cling film seems odd. Just putting it in the bread bin seems odd. Buying brown paper bags seem ridiculous (but current favoured option).

DH bought paper bread bags from ebay and the new loaf goes into a paper bag in the bread bin.

They never last long enough to store here...

One other person buying bread bags is good enough for me. I can tell DH it's the done thing when he looks at me funny Grin

Thank you Thanks

Just in bread bin with no wrapping. If the bin seals I don't see why you need anything else.

Sorry WaitingForMe, but you don't need to tell your DH!

Polythene freezer bag with the top loosely folded over. My homemade bread generally lasts the week like that, which is how long it takes me to get through it anyway. It goes in an open bread bin.

I've got one of the enamel tin bread bins (cream coloured with BREAD written on the side)

The bread went mouldy Sad
Bread bin now contains detergent tablets.

DP stores it on top of the breadbin. Grrr.
